They took us to the Ann Spoyer show at a hotel on Saturday afternoon which was a collection of Indian inspired dresses featuring paisley prints and glitter with some amazing heels.
Ann Spoyer's collection was followed by Prince William 3rd who was clearly strongly influenced by the tartan trend of Autumn/Winter 2008.
On Monday morning we had some spare time so I made use of myself by attending the Twinkle by Wenlan show at Bryant Park with BellaSugar editor Annie Tomlin. I really loved the collection and thought it was so playful, almost like See by Chloe. Definitely a brand I will look up next time I'm crossing the Atlantic. New York Fashion Week takes place behind the NY Central library so there was plenty of Sex and the City reminiscing!

Here are just some snapshots of NY. I particularly liked the disco subway! Also the world famous Radio City. If you have ever been to New York City then you're probably already familiar with the Naked Cowboy. If you haven't been then you're in for a treat. He literally stands in the middle of Time Square in his pants (sadly not naked, but those Americans are prudes) with a guitar posing for tourists all day long! A must see.
Whilst in New York we went past the Dakota (where Yoko Ono still lives) and saw the spot where John Lennon was shot dead. It was quite a sad moment for me but ruined by the run (and the woman encouraging them over a loud speaker) taking place in Central Park at the time.
We went in to Central Park and checked out Strawberry Fields which is a memorial to John Lennon but also a place for people to go and reflect on peace which John found so important and campaigned so tirelessly for.
The Dakota is such a beautiful building on the Upper West side and was originally built when nothing else existed that far up town.
